The Devastating Curling Pass
Back to Experts Guide
Particularly effective on the Amiga version, but still handy
on the PC, this tactic can be absolutely devastating if honed
to perfection. Play a 3-5-2 formation and get the ball to your
attacking midfielder. While he is standing just to one side
of the centre circle, hit a diagonal pass along the floor across
the pitch (not down the wing). As soon as you hit the pass,
curl the pass back the other way. The ball should fall at your
strikers feet, and the defenders will be bemused, leaving you
a clear run at goal!.

One diagonal curling pass along the floor from your midfielder
can take out several defenders (circled) and land at the
feet of your striker (arrowed)

Another possible implementation of the curling pass. Angle
the pass out towards the wing and quickly bend it back infield.
Again the ball shoulf land at your striker, whilst the three
defenders shown are taken out of the game, as well as the
back two who are still discussing what colour underpants
they are wearing.
