    Changing SWOS Graphics

    Back to Customize SWOS

    Changing Graphics :-

It is possible to change the background image, for the loading screen, which you see before every match - you know the one :

You will need a decent graphics package which will allow you to work with raw file images, such as Adobe Photoshop.

There is a file in the main SWOS directory called : stad.256.

Open this file, and edit it as you desire, before saving it to the same filename. Be sure to keep the format exactly the same - do not change the palette used, or the resolution.

If you want to start from scratch - always remember the following :

    1.) SWOS only uses a resolution of 320 * 200

2.)You will have to re-map the image to the same pallette as the stad.256 image.

3.) As SWOS only uses 320 * 200, you can't expect to have super dooper, magnificent images.
