    Budgeting

It's no secret that when managing a big club on SWOS (particularly it seems in the italian Serie A) it can be very difficult to stay in control of your finances. You may find yourself making huge losses after every match, and you may have to face a chairman who's not too happy at losing all of his hard earned money.

Okay, so despite these problems, you've foolishly decided to accept the position as manager at AC Milan (or another big club), and you find yourself making a huge losses, as expected. It can be very difficult to solve this problem, but here are a few tips which should help you out :

1.) If you have expensive substitutes, sell them. There's no point in having expensive players sat on your bench, who's wages are burning a hole in your pocket, and who's value is dropping.

2.) If you have more than one expensive (£7m +) striker, sell off your strikers, until you have only one expensive striker. One expensive striker will score you plenty of goals.

3.) Keep the backbone of the team intact - keep your goalkeeper, one of your defenders, one of your midfielders, and one of your strikers, and any other individual player which may be important to your team. Then replace the rest of the players with some of the players listed on the 'bargain player'page (ideally from the £500k-£1m or £1m-£3m range.

4.) Save you're money. Only add players to you're squad in emergency cases (eg - black cross or question mark injuries, where no replacement is available)

5.) Keep you're squad size at the absolute minimum (11 players and five substitutes) When you get injuries, simply use the loan players to temporarily take up the space on your bench.

6.) Keep checking out you're trial and reserve players. You can occasionally get a run of really good players (I once got three in one season). the emergence of trial players has two advantages.
    a) You can sell them on for a profit or..
    b) You can use them to replace the players in your team, and sell the established player - trial players always receive low wages and so no matter what value they rise to, they will receive a lower wage to that of an established player of the same value.

7.) Make sure you stay in the European competitions (if applicable). The European cup, is in particular a good money spinner.
