Why has it taken so long for a PC specific
Sensi?
Because we encountered a number of problems, mainly
to do with motion capture and 3D. Plus, we put a lot of energy
into a lot of other products we're not developing any more.
Give us an update on Sex 'n' Drugs 'n' Rock
'n' Roll.
We've lost it. It was about three quarters finished,
but it needed a lot more investment. We took it to almost every
publisher in the world. They all loved it, but said they couldn't
publish it because of the subject matter. It makes me worry about
what products we're going to see in the next few years.
So what next?
We've reduced down to a smaller company, and will
continue to work on the soccer stuff. I think the gameplay is
there, it's just a matter of improving on the graphical side.
And getting a commentator who's not me.
You're also looking for a buyer for Sensible
- why?
We've got no option. We cannot continue as we are,
it's financial suicide. If you make one false step, you could
lose everything that you've built up in your career.
Finally describe yourself in terms of three
video games characters
Wizkid, because of his naive sense of adventure,
Kinoplo, just because I pick him when I play Mario Kart, and one
of the bats in Pong, because I'm also a boring old fart.
