BACK, AT LAST!!(9/12)
Well, finally, purple is back, after a long wait. Updates have
been planned for some time, but due to difficulties in renewing
my membership to the server space that holds this site. Anyway,
here I am, back again, read on below and to your right for details
of the updates made!
PURPLE '01 - THE REINCARNATION(9/12)
On another note, I am working away on a total redesign (yes
again), to make the site much more professional, and a LOT easier
to manage. Don't expect it to make an appearance for a while,

I have decided that now is not the time for purple to die. Thanks
to everyone that mailed me with their support. However, I cannot
guarantee that I will be able to make regular updates as constraints
on my time are quite large now that I have started my second
year of University. As it happens, not a lot has happened on
the Sensible scene whilst I have been away, although the SWOS
WItnesses Online league now seems to be in full swing. Anyway,
for now, I have done a SWOS page update again, and whacked some
Christina Aguilera pics in the Sensi 98 section, just, for fun,
ya know.
On the website scene, Paul Turner has added quite
a lot of stuff to his page, although, the "SWOS Stories",
"Amiga SWOS" and a few others do seem just a little
familiar......
Also, I was kindly sent a crack program for the
Sensible Soccer download which is on my site, so that is now
available for download.
MAKES NO SENSE(2/11)
On a not so bright note, there has been no news (official or
unofficial) on the issue of SWOS 2000, and GB Cannon Fodder
seems to be suffering delay, after delay. Latest ETA is November.
PURPLE SUPERLEAGUE SUSPENDED(2/11)
As I have ridiculously small amounts of time to do this site
(I actually didn't get chance to go to bed last night, I had
so much work to do), I certainly do not have the time to run
the superleague. Therefore, it has been updated with September
/ Octobers results, and has been suspended until early December
when I will have more time on my hands. Likewise, there will
be no goals page updates until around christmas time.
SUDDEN INTEREST IN SEX AND DRUGS!(2/11)
There seems to have been a sudden increase in the interest in
the Sex 'n' Drugs section of the site. A few more messages have
appeard on the message board, demanding it to be released. Codemasters
take note!!
DOWNLOAD SWOS(2/11)
Paul Turner has hunted around for abandoneware sites offering
SWOS for download. See his results in the downloads section
of his site at http://sensisuperstar.cjb.net.
WEBSITES UPDATE(2/11)
With purples decision to live on, things on the SWOS website
scene look a little less morbid, although the lack of activity
from other popular sites such as Magical SWOS (supposedly getting
an update and moving to "magicalswos.com" but it's
not looking promising, Sensible Fantasy, and Be Sensible, is
not good news.
On a brighter note, SWOS Online League is still
going, now into it's (and correct me if I'm wrong here) third
month, which means it has lasted approximately 2 months and
28 days longer than most online SWOS tournaments. Marcus Richards
SWOS league is, to my knowledge, also still going.
SensiSuperstar is also about to open up some interesting
new sections, confirming it's position as probably the best
SWOS-dedicated website, although an Amiga SWOS page and a "funny
stories" page, where have I seen that before. Where purple
leads, the rest follows! (only kidding Paul! :-)
SWOS 24/7 is also still up and running, with a
couple of new pages, although the team update pack remains it's
main source of fresh material.
