SENSIBLE SOCCER ENGLISH CLUB EDITION -
31/5/1999
A few days ago, I mentioned that SensiSational was
going to work together with Sensibility (the ONLY other Sensi
98 site) to bring you an exclusive Sensi 98 update. Well, after
deep negotiations, and discussions, and research, the final
details of the project are now ready to be released.
* The Project is going under the working title of 'Sensible
Soccer 98 English Club Edition''
* The Project will involve a full update of the English Premier
League teams, as well as the addition of Division 1, 2, and
3 teams to the custom team files.
* Work will start on approx July 1st, and the official release
date has been set at August 10th - just in time for the new
season.
I will be adding a new page to the site on Saturday, dedicated
to the update, so that you can chart it's progress, and read
about some of the complex discussions which took and will take
place so check that out this weekend.
Whilst I'm here, I may as well tell you that I have also updated
the SWOS 2000 top ten.

SENSIBLE SAVED!! - 28/5/1999
Hello folks, I have some absolutely fantastic news
to bring you. Sensible LIVES ON!! Sensible has been bought by
Codemasters (Yippee!!) and are already working on a new title!!.
Go to the SOS board to read the message, posted by Jon Hare
himself!!
Tomorrow, I will write a whole article on the SOS campaign,
it's success, and a whole host of other stuff, until then, check
out the SOS message board, and also this article here.
SENSISATIONAL / SENSIBILITY JOIN FORCES
- 28/5/1999
SensiSational Y2K and Sensibility webmasters are set
to work on a joint project, to bring you a larger collection
of teams for Sensible Soccer 98. We are planning to add 1st
division teams to the Premier League update, which can already
be found at this site. We may also add the second division teams,
but that depends on how quickly we get bored with working on
the update! I would dearly love to add all the 3rd Division
teams too, but unfortunately, there aren't enough custom teams
available to add all the teams and Hex editing the data just
isn't practical for the Euro CLub Edition, cos there are so
many players!
Work wont begin on the update until sometime in early July,
because we are currently busy with A-Level exams, but if there
are any teams which you would particularly like including (especially
2nd/3rd Division teams because there's a chance that 2nd/3rd
Division teams wont appear in the update) then please contact
me at phillip@lemars.freeserve.co.uk
and we'll do our best to fit your team in!

SENSIBILITY RETURNS! - 24/5/1999
I am pleased to announce that after a lengthy lay off,
Sensibility has been resurrected. You'll find a link to the
ONLY other Sensi 98 site, in the links section of Ultimate Sensi
98.
CANNON FODDER STILL RIDING HIGH - 24/5/1999
Cannon Fodder is still clinging on in the budget charts.
After a staggering 5 months, Cannon Fodder, available for £4.99
in the SOLD OUT range, has hung on to it's top ten position
in the budget charts, this month at number 10.
ULTIMATE ACCOLADES FOR SENSI GAMES - 22/5/1999
In a chart of the all time top 100 PC games, compiled
by ULTIMATE PC magazine, Sensible Soccer European Club Edition
reached a respectable 64th, but the real surprise (at least
I was surprised) is that CANNON FODDER stormed in at number
10! Unfortunately FIFA 99 also made the chart, in at 30 something.
SENSI VS FIFA - THE FEUD CONTINUES - 15/5/1999
Voters at this site agreed with me, that it is impossible
to like both Sensi and FIFA with 68% of voters taking this viewpoint.
The other 32% thought it was possible to like both, but you'd
probably worked that one out already.
WARNING - SENSIBLE GOLF - A DANGER TO
YOUR LIFE - 15/5/1999
I bought Sensible Golf, the other day, and am finding
it irresistably addictive. May this be a warning to anyone who
has a full social life, or who needs to revise for exams.
SENSI-SATIONAL NUMBER OF VISITORS! - 17/5/1999
SensiSational Y2K has just enjoyed it's most prolific
week in history. Scoring almost 150 hits in the first week of
May has seen SensiSational riding high, in it's highest ever
position, of number 3 in the SFAR rankings. Thanks to all my
visitors who have made this possible. Thanks also to everyone
who has visited the new section, which has managed almost 50
hits alone in it's opening week.
SWOS TOURNAMENT - 17/5/1999

ONE YEAR ON... - 17/5/1999
It's now a year since Sensible Soccer '98 was released,
and a year since the opening of 'Ultimate Sensible Soccer 98'.
