CANNON FODDER 3 TO COME NEXT!! (24/05)
Whilst we wait, and wonder, whether we are ever going to see another
installment of our beloved Sensible Soccer, one thing I can tell
you is that there WILL be another installment in the also much
loved Cannon Fodder series. It is provisionally being called either
Cannon Fodder 3, or Cannon Fodder 3D, and will take the Cannon
Fodder soldiers and place them in a 3D environment, whilst adding
loads of new features, along the way. It should be quite a leap
from the original Cannon Fodder. The game is only in its design
stages at the minute however, and so it could be some time before
we see it on our shelves.
GAMEBOY SENSI SOCCER? (24/05)
Jon Hare has admitted that he is keen to bring a version
of Sensble Soccer to the Gameboy colour. Speaking in an interview
with a representative for "Games Domain" ( http://www.gamesdomain.com
), Jon said : "I really want to do Sensible Soccer on the
Gameboy colour, but I can't make it happen, it's up to Codemasters."
SWOS 2000 COMING TO AMIGAS SOON (24/05)
Well, whilst any new generations of the great game seem a
long way off, Amiga owners can take heart from the fact that a
new, updated version of SWOS will soon be available from Alive
Mediasoft (http://www.alive-mediasoft.co.uk) I hope to bring you
more news of this title later in the week.
BE SENSIBLE 2000 IS BACK! (24/05)
Eduardo Sousa returns with his first site update in 6 months.
Only really a news update, but expect more frequent updates from
now on. I think! Check it out at : http://besensible.cjb.net
CODEMASTERS DENY NEW SENSI SOCCER RUMOURS!! (19/05)
In response to a mail to Codemasters to inform them of the SWOS
2K campaign, recent rumours that a new Sensible Soccer game is
on its way.or even planned have been denied and it has been stated,
once again, as in the past that there are no official plans to
release a new SWOS game. I can't say much more than that, but
I have informed them of the presence of the message board, and
the SWOS 2K campaign pages, and await their response on these
matters.
NEW SENSI GAMES REVELATION!! (18/05)
Sources close to Codemasters have revealed that there WILL be
another Sensi Soccer and that it is already in developement for
the Playstation 2 and the X-Box. It would seem pretty likely that
a PC version will follow. It is unclear how far away the game
is currently from completion, but considering the consoles haven't
even been released over here yet, and the high standards of both
Codemasters and Jon Hare, it could be a while off just yet. Also
in production at the Codemasters offices are Playstation 2 and
X-Box versions of Sensi's other famous title - Cannon Fodder,
and the Codemasters/Sensible partnerships first release will be
a version of Cannon Fodder for the new Gameboy which should hit
the shops sometime in July. From what I've seen from the Codemasters
webpage, it looks fantastic and has some snazzy new features.

NEW SWOS EDITER TO TAKE WORLD BY STORM?? (18/05)
I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview of a SWOS editer, in
developement from SWOS website veteran Cris Boylan. I have to
say I was very impressed, and it could just be the SWOS editer
of the future. As yet, the editer has no official name, or release
date, but it certainly is something to look forward to!! LATEST
SENSI WEBSITE NEWS (18/05)
Well, there hasn't been a great deal of action on the Sensi website
front whilst PURPLE has been away. SWOS 24/7 and Sensi Superstar
are still going as strong as ever, with the latter just opening
up two new sections, to compliment an already outstanding site.
Other than that, Be Sensible 2000 looks dead, as does Magic SWOS,
despite it's recent "rebirth", and also Ricky Tangs SWOS site
is still not receiving any updates. On the brighter side, we have
the return of Damien Marsault to the website scene with a re-vamped
version of his old Sensible Fantasy, which manages to combine
both a memorable liason through SWOS history with other active
and interesting content. For links to all these sites, and more
information, go to the links page in the SWOS section of the site.
