I'M BACK - WIMBLEDON STUFF - 26/6/1999
Well, I'm back from my hol's now, and all exams are
finished, so I have much more free time to dedicate to my sites
and the update project, as well as getting my tennis career
back on track after a demoralising defeat in my big comeback
game recently. Tomorrow I will begin to slowly dredge my way
through tonnes of highlights file in the slow and rather painful
task of trying to fit two months worth of goals into one goal
of the month chart. It may take a couple of days, so expect
an ULTIMATE SWOS update early next week.
On a different note, congratulations to Tim Henman, and Anna
Kournikova for surviving the first week of wimbledon, and good
luck for the rest of the tournamen

quiet soothing background music to my site (recognise it?) It's

NO COMPETITION UPDATE THIS WEEK- 4/6/1999
I've just realised that there should have been a competition
page update this week. However, my time is all take up with
revision, wokr on Sensi 98 English Club Edition, and another
project, so it looks unlikely I will get time to do a competition
update this month. Expect another double whammy competitino

EA SCOFFAGE - 3/6/1999
Well, EA's policy of style over content looks set to
continue well into the next millenium. I couldn't help laughing,
when EA boasted that FIFA 2000, would offer 40 club
and National teams! Wow. That's really impressive. NOT! Even
Sensi World CUp 98 boasts more teams than that!!
There other up and coming offering - "FA Premier League
Stars" also sounds absolutely sh**e.
AFTER OVER 2 YEARS SWOS IS STILL ON TOP
OF THE WORLD (WELL ALMOST!) - 3/6/1999
In a Football Management Game Supertest, PC Zone magazine
has given SWOS 96/97 a glowing re-review. Although succumbing
to CM3 as the best management game ever, PC Zone have proven
that the appeal of SWOS is never ending. "It's one
of the most wholesome games ever made"; "SWOS is my
favourite game of all time, easily." are just two
quotes from the full article, which you can read in the reviews
section of Ultimate SWOS.

DIGITISER REPORT ON THE SENSIBLE TAKEOVER
- 2/6/1999
Digitiser, Channel 4 teletext's gaming magazine has
reported on the Codemasters/Sensible merger :
"Codemasters, one of the few independant
game publishers remaining in the UK has clambered drunkenly
into bed with veteran UK developer Sensible Software.
Recently the failure to secure a publishing
deal for it's controversial 'Sex n Drugs n Rock n Roll' had
hit Sensibles finances in the mouth"#
