THE ENIGMAS COMEBACK CUT SHORT BY INJURY (22/06)
The Enigma was dealt a cruel blow yesterday in his bid to return from the football wilderness. Taking part in a 5-a-side football tournament, The Enigma collapsed in agony midway through the second game of the campaign, after an awkward challenge resulted in him going over heavily on his right angle.

Prior to the injury, the Enigma looked to be in dazzling form, scoring two great goals, and showing glimpses of the skill and trickery that promised to take him so far, before a disastrous run of form saw a total loss of confidence.

The Enigma started the tournament by taking his turn for goalkeeping duties, and put in a very solid performance which won over the crowd instantly. Coming into the field of play in the second half, The Enigma showed he was going to give no mercy as he bit into the tackles, and worked tirelessly for the team. The match ended a draw and went to sudden death penalties. The Enigma took responsibilty for the first spot-kick which he put away with an assured confidence. Then he again took his place between the sticks, but didn't quite manage to stop any penalties in a nailbiting shoot-out which eventually ended 8-7, in favour of the opposition.

Starting the second match, outfield, the Enigma further dazzled the crowd with his trickery and scored his teams first goal of the campaign with a blistering strike from just inside his own half. He tappen in a second following a good move from the Ravensworth V, and looked by far the most dangerous player on the pitch when disaster struck. Going in for a tackle, the Enigma's ankle got heavily stood on, and that was the end of his tournament. He got a standing ovation from the spectators as he was helped off the field of play. Ravensworth V hung on for a 3-1 win, but went out of the tournament, due to a defeat in the next game. Whether they would have gone through with the Enigma playing, we can only speculate, but in such dazzling form, and showing such total dis-respect for the quality of the opposition, he can be a threat to anyone.

Speaking the morning after, the Enigma said : "I was very disappointed to have to come off, but my form was encouraging, and the X-Rays show no broken bones, so hopefully I should be back in action before too long."

NEW SENSI SOCCER - THE FULL STORY! (12/06)
The truth has finally come out regarding the new Sensible Soccer that is "in developement". The fact is that the game is at a very early stage in its design, and has not yet been approved by Codemasters, although with so much support, and the game allegedly already looking very promising with a lot of new ideas, sources suggest this shouldn;t be a problem. For the full story, check out SWOS 24/7. You can find a link there on the SWOS links page.

IN DEVELOPMENT - "purple '00" + UP AND COMING ADDITIONS!(12/06)
Yes, I'm never satisfied, am I. I have decided, already that I don't really like the look of the new PURPLE, or the new navigation system, so I am currently designing Purple '00. The basic structure is already done, and let me tell you, it looks absolutely stunning. It is easily my finest work to date!!. However, there is still a LONG way to go before the new design can be implemented, as it means a lot of changes to existing pages. At a VERY rough guess, I would say, theres a slim chance it could happen in about a months time. But that is only a wild guess!!

Meanwhile, coming soon to the "old" PURPLE, a new page in the SWOS section called "SWOS through the ages" which will be a more in-depth history page including more screenshots, and information on all Sensible Soccer games, ever!. The SWOS section will also see a much awaited update to the "Best Goal Ever" chart. The team editing guide will soon be available in the Sensi 98 section, along with information on how to edit players individual skills, which has been demanded!. I may also release the info on how to edit the kits, but this is complicated, so I may not!.

I may also have a couple of other things up my sleeve, and as I now have much more time to dedicate to the site, thanks to my exams now being over, expect much more frequent updates!!, (And of course frantic work to get purple '00 up and running!!)
