8/6/2001 : Not so sensible
Things aren't looking quite so rosy in the world of Sensible at
the moment. There's still no news of a new Sensi Soccer (and I
think we can assume now that there wont ever be), or indeed any
other Sensible related titles, and big name sites are becoming
more and more infrequently updated - something to which I admit,
Purple is no exception.
Still, with SensiSuperstar, very sadly, it seems, falling by the
wayside, and SWOS Witnesses not getting an update since the end
of the last league, things don't look good.
SWOS 24/7 is still ticking over quietly and may, like Purple,
blast back into life now that the examination period is over,
but we need a bigger base if we are to ensure that we catch the
attention of those Sensible fans who haven't quite got involved
with the online community yet, and if we are to keep existing
members of the online Sensible community interested.
8/6/2001 : Purple Reopens / Superleague deadline extended
Wow, over a month since the last update, but finally Purple is
back!
My exams are over, and I have loadsa spare time, so finally an
update comes your way.
No Superleague update due to very few people sending there files
in, so I have extended the deadline for another week. Please play
soon, and get your files in for next week!
Check out the updates page for more info on todays update.
6/1/2001 : Latest SWOS 2K News
Codemasters latest response to the burning issue of whether
we will ever get another SWOS is : "We have no plans at
the moment to release a sequel to Sensible Soccer, but do not
rule out possible sequels in the future"
On a further note, they now have an automated E-Mail replyer,
so when you bug them with you're questions and demands for SWOS,
they are infact taking no notice, as it is a machine that is reading
and replying to your E-Mails. So much for customer service.
