    LATEST ON ULTIMATE CF 2000 - 31/7/1999
I am very pleased to announce that Ultimate Cannon Fodder 2 is VERY near to completion, and SHOULD open tomorrow! It is a site which I am very proud of, infact it may be my finest creation to date. It will feature :
    * Reviews of Cannon Fodder 1 and 2 from various sources
    * An insight into the making of Cannon Fodder 1 and 2
    * Articles on the controversy caused by Cannon Fodder 1 featuring poppy images.
    * Information on all the vehicles, buildings and lanscapes used by both versions of Cannon Fodderm including authentic sound effects, and animations.
    * A league table of CF soldiers
    * Lot's of cool sounds to listen to.
    * A page entitled '10 nasty ways to die', which has some hilariously cool animations on it.
    * A brave attempt to explain the CF2 plot, with the CF2 story.
And loads more. Check it out from late tomorrow. Hopefully. The address will probably be http://ultimatecf2000.cjb.net or something.

LE MARS GIVEN CHANCE TO SHINE - 20/7/1999
After recently taking a break from the game, enigmatic midfield maestro Phillip Le Marsay has been given the opportunity to kick-start his footballing career in a special friendly this Sunday. Le Mars has been pencilled in to a midfield position for "The Spraire Senior team", and if he impresses in this game, he could be offered a long term position, and a route back to the big time. Chances like this don't come along too often, and Le Mars may be entering last chance saloon this weekend. Phillip had the following comment :

"This is a great chance for me to re-launch my career, but I haven't played at this level for a while and I'm not getting my hopes up."

ANOTHER SENSI-SATIONAL EXCLUSIVE - ENDULGE IN SOME RETRO SENSI SOFTWARE GAMING!! - 17/7/1999
Have you ever wanted to play all of Sensible Softwares Commodore 64 games, but never known how to, or never been bothered to spend hours searching for all the right files? Well, if so, go to the SENSIBLE STORY section of SensiSational, right now! ( http://sensistory.cjb.net ) where you can now find a C64 emulater, and a zip file of most of Sensi's C64 games.

Even if you have never previously been interested in such things, I still reccomend you download the files, because these are games from a golden age of gaming, when graphics could not sell a game, and when gameplay was of the utmost importance. Some of these games are real crackers, and I STRONGLY RECCOMEND YOU GIVE THEM A TRY!

WEBMASTERS XI BEATEN IN THRILLER- 14/7/1999
The Webmasters XI team has been defeated. For full information, check out the WEBMASTERS XI page at the English Club Edition Project Homepage at : http://englishclub.cjb.net

    ULTIMATE CANNON FODDER 2000 ON IT'S WAY - 12/7/1999
Ultimate Cannon Fodder 2 is undergoing a reconstruction . This is because it was so bad, and neglected, that at best it was detrimental to SensiSationals reputation and at worst, a danger to human life. The site is getting a major revamp which will actually make it worth visiting. Expect Ultimate Cannon Fodder 2000, to appear either this, or next weekend.

    NEW SWOS TOURNAMENT - 10/7/1999
Mr James Consterdine has done the decent thing and started up another new SWOS tournament. He urges that he is not trying to rival Jarkko's tournament, but simply triying to give us Sensi fans more choice, and another great tournament to take part in. The tournament is radically different to Jarkko's, and promises to take up much less of your life (although whether that's a good thing or not is debatable!) For more information, and to sign up, go to : http://www.angelfire.com/sc/swos1/

    MORE COOL PROJECT STUFF- 9/7/1999
As the English Club Edition project (see http://englishclub.cjb.net ) continues to advance, new opportunities, and ideas keep presenting themselves. Recently Jarkko has joined us, as our graphics specialist, and now I am looking into the possibility of getting some new commentary files to bundle together with the patch. If, by any chance, you have some good commentary files lying around (preferably not J. Davies!) in wave file format, then please do not hesitate to contact me at : phillip@lemars.freeserve.co.uk.

    A SHAME ON IT'S NAME - 9/7/1999
A quote from PC GAMER this month, regarding FA Premier League Stars (EA Sports):

"What we have here is something that's best compared to ageing Amiga classic Sensible World Of Soccer."

I'm sorry, but how can you compare a game where you can only control a team from the English Premier league, where a transfer market is non-existent, competitions are phony and options are limited, with a game that allows you to play any team, from any country, in any real competition in the whole world, and where you can also buy and sell players from any team in the world, play a full 20 year career, with the option of international management, as well as making up your own competitions, and much much more.
SWOS Vs FA Premier League stars - there's no comparison.

SENSI STILL POPULAR, WIZBALL SHOCKER!- 9/7/1999
In the latest edition of PC GAMER magazine, SENSIBLE SOCCER was voted as the 51st best game ever by it's readers - not a bad achievement for an old game in a rapidly advancing market. More surprising, however was the appearance of Sensible Softwares ancient, 12 year old game, WIZBALL, at number 85.
In the official PC GAMER top 100, Sensi came in at 99.

WEBMASTERS TROUNCE THE BABES AGAIN! (AND OTHER EXCITING PROJECT NEWS)- 6/7/1999
The Webmasters XI struck another blow for Bloke Power last night as they demolished the Beautiful XI (see famous players page, Ultimate Sensi 98) in the second leg of the celebrity challenge friendly. For a full match report, squad information, match and season statistics, details of up and coming fixtures, and much, much more, go to the WEBMASTERS XI page at the rather funky Sensi 98 English Club Edition project homepage. Go there now, by going to this address : http://englishclub.cjb.net or by following the English Club Edition link in Ultimate Sensi 98.
The project, may also have another worker, as we try and convince Jarkko to join us to lend his graphical expertise to the project, as he recently impressed us with his ability to do team strips n stuff.

WEBMASTERS XI NOTCH UP FIRST WIN!! - 4/7/1999
In a much anticipated clash between The WEBMASTERS XI, and THE BEAUTIFUL XI (see famous players page, Ultimate Sensi 98), THE WEBMASTERS XI have triumphed by two goals to nil.
SensiSational would like to take this opportunity to send our consolations to Tim Henman, and to wish him luck over the next year, so he can come back a better player next year and whup everyone's butts.

THE ENIGMA ROARS BACK AS ANNA FALTERS - 1/7/1999
The Enigma's tennis career looks to be back on track, after a 7-5, 4-6, 6-2 victory in only his second game in almost a year, because of injury problems. The Enigma broke serve at 5-5 in the first set after being 5-4 down and went on to serve out for the set. His opponent got his game together in the second set, and things looked pretty tight in the thirs, with both players cearly suffering from fatigue, until The Enigma strung together a series of magical shots to stretch away for a hard fought victory.
Meanwhile, high profile close friend of The Enigma, Anna Kournikova has crashed out of Wimbledon, despite being a set ahead at one point. Everyone at SensiSational Y2K would like to send our commiserations to Anna.
SensiSational Y2K would also like to wish Tim Henman all the best for his semi final meeting with Mr Sampras.
