MORE ACCOLADES FOR SENSI 98
Ultimate PC have elected Sensi Euro 98 the 35th best game of
'98, only a few places behind 'that' football game. This follows
previous accolades, such as the 6th best Sports game ever according
to PC Zone.
NOT TIL NEXT YEAR
Sensible soccer will now not be coming out on the playstation
until sometime in 1999. Probably around March.
CANNON FODDER NEWS
PC Zone, the magazine that seems to have taken Amiga Powers
role, as a Sensible Software loving, mickey taking, laugh a
minute magazine, has recently awarded Cannon Fodder 2 (re-released
on budget for £4.99 in the Sold Out range) a whopping 86%.
MIXED BAG
Sensible Soccer European Edition continues to invoke a mixed
reception from magazine reviewers. In Ultimate PC, SEECE received
91% and was claimed to be game of the month by it's reviewer.
Sensi 98 - you either love it or hate it!
THE FINAL NAIL?
New to the scene PC Gaming World mag (or something stupid like
that) obviously has a lot to learn when it comes to reviewing
a computer game. They recently slated Sensi Euro Edition, giving
it a mere two stars out of five. You could almost understand
this low mark if they had found fundamental problems with the
game. But they simply concentrated on the 'poor' graphics of
the game. Okay, so the graphics aren't in FIFA's league, but
the playability is about ten leagues above. It's time magazines
started reviewing games on their gameplay, with the graphics
being a mere point at the end of a review.
WAR, IT SEEMS, HAS STILL NEVER BEEN SO
MUCH FUN
A welcome christmas present arrived for Sensible Software this
week, as budget Cannon Fodder (Sold Out range- £4.99) crashed
into the budget games chart at number 4. This must be welcome
news, after Sensi European edition was slated in yet another
big magazine.
