WE'VE BEEN RUMBLED!! - 25/8/1999
It seems our attempt to get you all to write in to
C4 Teletext's digitiser was spotted by the eagle-eyed telivision-o-journo's!
Check out teletext page 674, and you'll find the following statement
:
"Hey - you think we don't surf the internet?
We saw you guys trying to start a campaign to flood us with
votes for Sensible Soccer. We're too sharp for the likes of
you jerkies."
Well - I'm not sure being called a "jerkie"
is particularly pleasing, but despite this statement, the idea
seems to have worked, because the great SWOS got a couple of
mentions, whereas that four letter "F" word game didn't
even get a look in. Tee hee hee. Cannon Fodder also got a mention.
Not a bad day for Sensible Software then.
NEW SENSI RUMOURS?- 25/8/1999
Rumours have surfaced through the well respected "Future
Gamer" website, that Codemasters are to fund a brand new
Sensi, the production of which will be spearheaded by Jon Hare.
This seems to confirm the "underground" rumours,
that a new Sensi was on it's way. Keep your fingers crossed.
(Oh and if anyone wants to buy me a new computer which will
be able to run the game, please feel free to contact me!) (THIS
