15/04/02 : Jon Hare: "Leave SWOS as a quality piece of
gaming history"
Jon Hare has recently spoken out on the Codemasters forum,
at his reluctance to buckle to temptation and cash in on the SWOS
brand with what might end up being a sub-quality product that
"would probably come across more like a rather belated
comeback tour of a band who have just done it for the money"
He also expresses his gratitude for the support offered, and that
he is sorry to disappoint us but "at the moment the dream
of a new SWOS is a long way off. "
Well, it's pretty much what I expected, to be honest, but that
doesn't mean the fight should end here. If we continue to show
our support, who knows, we might just be able to change their
minds, so keep signing that petition!

07/04/02 : Petition hits magic 100
Over the course of a single weekend, I am pleased to announce
that the SWOS petition has swelled to a century of signatures.
This is indeed great news, but it's not enough!! We still need
more. Many, many more signatures. With a bit more awareness and
some more promotion (I've mailed a load of games websites) hopefully,
we can keep this rate of new signatures up.
Webmasters, please put the banner on your page. Also, anyone that
is signing - tell all your friends to come and sign! Lets try
and push on towards 500 signatures by this time next week!!
04/04/02 : Sign The Petition!!!
The latest effort in the fight for SWOS 2002. I've put up
an E-Peititon for all to sign. You sign by clicking on the e-mail
link within the petition. I will update it daily, and will send
it to Codemasters (electronically and by post) when I have enough
signatures.
Please sign, It is quick and easy. You don't need to sign up
to anything or register or anything, and it will take you only
a few moments of your time.
You may be thinking what is better about this method than all
the other methods (like signing the Codemasters forum etc. Well.
This way, we get a conclusive single list of names on one single
piece of E-paper. Names of supporters aren't spread over different
forum posts and threads.
Thats not to say you shouldn't post on the Codies forum too,
but this is just yet another way to show your support.
