Shoot Em Up Construction Kit (SEUCK)

Game genre : Shoot-em-up construction kit.

    Publisher : Palace

    Released : 1987

    Platform : C64

An early example of Sensibles desire for innovation and originality. A unique product, which to this day, has not been re-created. This product allowed the user to create their own shoot em up games, by creating their own characters, and sound effects, and follow some basic steps to put the whole thing together. It earned Sensible Software yet more accolades, as it was awarded the 'State of the art' for highly original software in 1987.

It soon became a bit of a craze, as it seemed people loved the idea of creating their own games. It's a product that could (and still can) while away many a month.

Re-released on the Amiga, the product benefited highly from the graphical user interface which made it much simpler to create your characters. the increased power of the machine made it possible for larger, more advanced games.
