In the Pipeline

For months, it had seemed as though Codemasters purchase of Sensible Software would not meet Sensible fans' hopes and expectations of a Sensible revival. However, now, it seems as though the new partnership have a few games in the pipeline which you can expect to see in the not quite so distant future. This new page will aim to keep you up to date with games that are both confirmed and unconfirmed by Sensible and the Codies.

CANNON FODDER NEXT GENERATION - CONFIRMED!!

Well, sort of anyway. Codemasters have quietly mentioned that this game is under development, but no details ae available as to when, or on what platform it will be available. However, Jon Hare, head of Sensible Software did mention some time ago that he was working on a new version of Cannon Fodder for the PlayStation2, X-Box and possibly PC.

The game will take the Cannon Fodder soldiers and place them in a 3D environment, effectively producing a war / shoot-em-up / strategy game in the first person perspective. Don't expect to see it in the neat future, but it's certainly one to look out for.

SENSIBLE SOCCER 2000 - UNOFFICIALLY CONFIRMED

Another game very much un-official and in the very early stages of developement. Has not yet been officially annoucned Codemasters, although rumours suggest that it is now finally underway. Again, no details on release date or platform are available as yet.
