Buildings
Welcome to Cannon Fodder Real Estates. Your guide
to architectural changes throughout the ages.
MEDIEVAL CASTLE
The most beautiful building ever to be seen on Cannon Fodder, and
it blows up with the most spectacular explosion!
Remember to rescue the damsels from the top turret
before you trash it.
MEDIEEVAL KNIGHTS HUT
Knights can spew out of these little huts at a tremendous rate, so
take them out as soon as possible. But be wary, as they often
guard other things in the area, such as the castle above.
CHICAGO TOWER BLOCK
Loads of these around in the Mafia dominated 50's. You'll find bullet
holes a-plenty in these buildings, from riots, raids, and gang
warfares.
CHICAGO CORNER SHOP
These are built to be raided, and the mobsters know it. Walk past
one of these, and they'll all pour out, to stop you trying to
raid 'their' shop. So, just grenade them, and don't think about
the consequence.
BEIRUT TEMPLE
Concrete re-enforced buildings, from ancient times. Previously
used to worship the gods, now more commonly used as cover from
circling choppas, and rumbling tanx. Their concrete structure
makes them resistant to gunfire, but they will collapse quickly
under the explosive power of a grenade.
BEIRUT CONCRETE BARRCKS
Just like
the temples, these are very brittle when exposed to explosive
power, but they can be huge, and carry thousands of troups each,
so take them out as soon as possible.
BEIRUT TENTS
tThese canvas buildings are strangely very resistant to gunfire. They
have been put up as temporary shelter for enemy army leaders
on the move, so take them out, to take out the enemy from the
top.
COUNTRY COTTAGE
Don't be fooled. These quaint little farmers cottages have been taken
over by the enemy, and are full of angry troupers. Made of stone,
with good, old fashioned building techniques, they are very
strong, so give them everything you've got.
WOODEN HUTS
These are put up as temporary cover
for enemies at the front line. They are often linked by underground
tunnels, making it easy for the enemy to move troups around
to the areas of battle. They may be flimsy, but be wary when
destroying them because flying debris can be a killer.
MUD HUTS
Be careful, because whilst most of these hold civilians, some have
been taken over by the enemy as temporary cover. However they
are very fragile and easily taken out.
STEEL RE-ENFORCED BUILDINGS
Incredibly strong buildings. They can only be take out with Big Gunz,
and can hold a deceptively large amount of enemy troups. To
make matters worse, they are often guarded by troupers brandishing
a rocket launcher.
IGLOOS
Again, another building with deceptive strength. The igloo may look
cute, but you won't think that when the enemy troupers come
pouring out of them. Flying blocks of ice can be a huge problem
when destroying these buildings.
RE-ENFORCED ARCTIC BUILDINGS
Often used for more purposes, other than storing troupers,
such as, in this case, as helipads. Another incredibly strong
building which can only be taken out using Big Gunz.
DESERT AIRCRAFT HANGERS
Abandoned aircraft hangers don't usually pose any danger, but as they
are so large, you can often get caught out by men brandishing
rocket launchers, hiding around the corner.
MEXICAN MUD HUTS
Poor little guys. Outside the war is raging, but the mexicans are
trying to carry on with their lives. Be careful, these buildings
are often used to hide Big Gunz.
ALIEN RESEARCH FACILITIES
Inside the aliens are researching new technology. They'll do anything
to stop you getting your hands on their plans, so look out for
hostile blobs pouring out of the doors.
ALIEN HUTS
The aliens may be well advanced with their technogy, but these futuristic
looking huts are little stronger than the wooden huts already
met by the troups in everyday life.
