* Jon Hare and co-founder of Sensi, Chris Yates used to
be in a rather unsuccessful band called "Hamsterfish" before
turning to computer games
* All the title tracks for Sensi's games were written
by Jon Hare himself, and in the case of Sensi 98, and Cannon Fodder,
were also sung by Jon Hare
* Sensible Software sponsor a non-league football team,
now known as Sensible FC
* In 4 years, Sensible Software had 10 games inside the
Amiga Power all time top 100
* They spent three consecutive years at the top of the
same chart
* In the 90's, Sensible World Of Soccer has sold more
than 1,500,000 to date, in Europe alone.
* Between 1992 and 1994 Sensible Soccer and Cannon Fodder
between them spent a staggering 50 weeks at No. 1 in the charts.
* Starting way back on the Sinclair Spectrum Sensible
Software have produced titles on the Commodore C64, Amstrad, Atari ST,
Commodore Amiga, Sega Megadrive, SNES and more lately for PCCDRom and
Playstation.
* Sensible Software's lowest review mark, in their Golden
age (in the days of the Amiga) was 66% for Sensible Golf
* And their highest was 96% for SWOS 95/96
* Sensible Software released 31 games. More than half
of these made the top ten chart for their respective machines, and at
least 6 went straight in at number 1.
* Every new version of Sensible Soccer, was greeted with
a 1% rise, in it's review score in Amiga Power
